Peter Grutter, PhD
Peter Grutter is a chair and James McGill professor in the department of physics at McGill University. He is an international leader in atomic force microscopy instrumentation and methods development and applies these techniques to characterize and manipulate nanoelectronic systems. Together with his research group he investigates quantum dots, molecules, and live cells, including neurons, to determine their structure-function relation to understand their potential for information processing and data storage.
