First, slowly expose students to the information and relate the concepts to everyday references. Start with the big picture, not the granular details.

Marc Breedlove, PhD
Marc Breedlove is the Barnett Rosenberg Professor of Neuroscience and a professor of psychology and zoology at Michigan State University. He studies the effect of steroid hormones on the developing and adult nervous system, including the sexual differentiation of the developing brain and spinal cord, as well as the activation of plasticity in the adult nervous system. Breedlove received his BA in psychology from Yale University and his Master’s in psychology and PhD in physiological psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
