Sonia Garel is an assistant professor at the Institut de Biologie de l'Ecole Normale Superieure (IBENS) heading the Brain Development and Plasticity team. Garel earned her PhD in developmental biology at Pierre and Marie Curie University, France. She completed a post-doctoral stay at University of California, San Francisco.
