Yuyu Song, MD/PhD

Yuyu Song is junior faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Her research interests focus on the molecular basis of pathogenesis for neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Using multidisciplinary approaches and complementary model systems, she has begun to explore the potential of cytoskeletal regulators, small molecule inhibitors, and molecular chaperones as therapeutic candidates for these devastating diseases without cure.
