Stephanie Perez, PhD

Stephanie Perez is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Her research focuses on better understanding how the dopamine system is regulated in normal and disease states. She uses a combination of techniques including in vivo electrophysiology, behavior, and molecular biology to develop novel treatments for schizophrenia, some of which include pharmacological, neurosurgical, and cell-based methods.
