Regine Zopf, PhD
Regine Zopf is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Cognitive Science at Macquarie University. Her research investigates the fundamental links among body, mind, and brain that define us as humans, including our interactions and psychological well-being. A major focus of her research is to find out how bodily information acquired through different senses is processed and integrated in the brain, allowing us to perceive our own body and its spatial dimensions. The aim of her research is to find out what causes body misperceptions in disorders such as schizophrenia and eating disorders. Her research is funded by a Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) from the Australian Research Council (ARC).
