Huda Y. Zoghbi, MD

Huda Zoghbi is an investigator at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, director of the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute at Texas Children’s Hospital, and professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Her research interests are in the molecular basis of neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disorders and nervous system development. She has won a number of awards; served on panels and committees of many societies, associations, institutions, advisory boards, and editorial boards. Zoghbi earned a BS in biology from American University of Beirut and an MD from Meharry Medical College.
