Christos G. Gkogkas, PhD

Christos Gkogkas is a Wellcome Trust Sir Henry Dale Fellow, a Brain and Behavior Research Foundation Young Investigator, and a member of the Simons Initiative for the Developing Brain. He also serves as a Chancellor’s Fellow at the Center for Discovery Brain Sciences and the Patrick Wild Center at the University of Edinburgh. Gkogkas’ lab studies the neurobiological mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental/neuropsychiatric disorders. He earned his BS in biology from the University of Athens and MS in neuroinformatics and PhD from the University of Edinburgh. He completed postdoctoral training at McGill University in Canada.
