Christopher Cowan, PhD

Chris Cowan is the William E. Murray Endowed Chair as well as a professor and the chair of the department of neuroscience at the Medical University of South Carolina. His laboratory’s research investigates the genes and molecular mechanisms that control proper brain wiring during development, focusing on drug addiction as well as autism spectrum disorders.
