Andrzej Foik, PhD
Andrzej Foik is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Irvine. He received his master’s degree at Warsaw University and PhD degree at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, in Poland. His research interests include retinal transplantation, alternating current stimulation, viral tracing, and optogenetics. His current projects use optogenetics to investigate the role of single cell types in visual processing and retinal transplantation in vision restoration in different animal models.
